This article outlines the workflow to import wells, fields and prospects from WoodMac. The data to be imported should be contained in one geodatabase and should look something like the following (note, blocks are not imported):

Import Wells
- Download the .json configuration files attached and copy to the project folder.
- From the Player ribbon select the Import Wells, Pools, Prospects icon

- From the Source Directory menu select the folder that holds the WoodMac data. Then from the Configuration drop-down select Wells - WoodMac Lens. Select the Area of Interest to encompass the data you want to import (World, Current Map Extent or Project Library Area). Select the Row Count refresh to show how many wells will be imported (if it remains at zero something in the setup is wrong!).

- From the Discovery History select Add Wells. Select the ADD WELLS button to load the WoodMac wells into Player.

- The importer will run and log will be produced.

Import Fields/Pools
- From the Configuration drop-down select FieldsPools - WoodMac Lens

- From the Discovery History select Add Pools/Fields. From the Match Criteria select Play Mapping and select the Young Age | Reservoir tick on the right side. This will populate the table with the WoodMac definitions on the left. Right-click in the row on the Play column and select the Player play that matches the WoodMac definition on the left. Several rows can be defined at the same time by holding the Control or Shift keys when making selections and then choosing a Player play. This defines how the plays will be mapped when the pools are loaded. Select the ADD POOLS button to load pools.

- The import will run and a log will be produced. If there are any errors or warnings these will be highlighted in the top right of the dialog and can be copied by using the copy icon.

Import Prospects
- From the Configuration drop-down select ProspectTargets - WoodMac Lens

- Use the Row Count icon to verify the data. If the row count remains at zero the importer is not seeing the data and no prospects will be imported. Note, Woodmac data contains a few duplicates in certain areas. There are not many in the whole database but they do contain identical attributes so the importer cannot separate them.

- Select Add Targets/Prospects and Play Mapping. Select the tick icon for Young Age | Reservoir to populate the Play Mapping table. Right-click on the Play column to select the plays to map Woodmac ages to Player plays.

- Woodmac provides a technical chance of success attribute for some prospects. Select Risk and choose which Risk Element to map this value to. The default is the HCRecov risk element, but this may not exist in your risk matrix. Choose an appropriate risk from the drop-down. All other risks will be 100 so whatever element this risk is mapped to will make the final risk the same as this value.

- Select ADD TARGETS
